Cee Lo Green has some legal issues going on right now, but his manager insists it won’t interfere with his career. He’s currently a mentor on NBC’s The Voice and he has an unscripted series coming out on TBS called CeeLo’s Goodie Life as well as a new album with his group Goodie Mob Age Against the Machine.
Andrew Jameson, Green’s manager, told TheWrap “I don’t think it will affect his career negatively.I have not seen any indication that it is.”
Green has been accused of slipping a woman an Ecstasy pill then having sex with her, however, the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence. He didn’t escape a felony charge of furnishing a controlled substance which could land him behind bars for four years.
His career doesn’t seem to be affected by all of this, as executive producer of The Voice, Mark Burnett, told TMZ, “CeeLo will not be fired." This reiterates Jameson’s comment that everyone involved in Green’s career has been “really supportive” about the legal cases.
