After stumbling across a few blogs, I’ve discovered I’m not the only one who likes to look good when working out. I know if I don’t have any other options available, I’ll grab a big pair of shorts and a t-shirt and keep it moving. But lately I’ve been searching the net for some cute, affordable, plus-size active wear and I think Old Navy is one good place to do that.
The difference between me and the women on some of the blogs I’ve read is that these women are moms with good careers, have been working for a while, or are great bloggers who companies don’t mind sending samples to. I’m a college student on a budget that I sometime ignore because I like shopping, but I know my limits.
So, when shopping for this type of gear 7, 10 and 15 dollar items look very attractive to someone like me. This past weekend I visited Old Navy and bought a top and some compression capris for a whooping total of $15.50 due to sales and a coupon for 50% off my highest priced item.
If you like to look good while working out, I encourage it. If you feel good and look good in what you are wearing, the workout will go so much smoother. There are many more options out there now and many of those options also are made to fit people’s budgets - as long as you are willing to look. I’ve also recently found some Nike compression shorts for $7.48 on one of my new favorite sites, 6pm.com.
Not only can these items be affordable and make you look good, but they should serve a purpose like keeping the jiggle secure and catching and drying pesky sweat.
