Talks of a Beetlejuice sequel have been in the talks for quite some time now (ever since the original became such a cult classic), and now with Tim Burton finally confirmed to be in the talks with Warner Bros the sequel may finally happen. Although the Beetlejuice sequel won't be Burton's next movie, it's nice to know that it is finally underway.
According to The Wrap Michael Keaton is also in talks to reprising his role, of course is he didn't the fan speculation may be a little heated. Keaton told the site that "I'd do that in a heartbeat… that's the one thing I'd love to do again." In regards to coming back as the sharp witted ghost who won over many fans.
Seth Grahame Smith has written a script that studio executive are more than excited about, and so is Burton himself according to reports by Variety. Smith will also be producing the sequel with his partner David Katzenberg. Expect to see more news coverage on the sequel later this year.
