A Justin Bieber superfan spent some serious money to try to look like his favorite pop star. Toby Sheldon, 33, spent $100,000 on plastic surgeries to get some of Bieber’s features.
Sheldon has went through procedures such as face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery with the 19-year-old “Baby” singer as his inspiration.
“Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, "I want to look like him,” he told Daily Mail.
It all started in 2008 when Sheldon’s hair started to thin and he spent $8,000 on hair transplants but ultimately wasn’t satisfied with how they turned out. As a result, he took Bieber’s picture with him and explained he wanted it to turn out like the signature haircut.
“It took three transplants and a total of $21,000 to accurately lower my hair line, close off my temples and grow back my bangs,” he admitted.
Sheldon also said he used Bieber’s “charming baby face” as his inspiration for the face surgeries. He got a “perma-smile” surgery and Botox and other procedures done as well, NY Daily News reports.
“I know there is more work to be done in order to make a full transformation into Justin Bieber’s doppelganger like a nose job and jaw reduction, which my surgeon has suggested,” he said, revealing he had to go to a few different doctors before he found one that would agree.
