The other day, I was driving on a country highway where the speed limit was 55 mph. After passing several cars that were going only 50 mph, I came to a vehicle that was driving 40 mph, at best. I thought to myself, “That’s actually really dangerous, if someone wasn’t paying attention, there could be a messy accident,” especially in this day and age, when everyone is texting or on Facebook while driving. So, to alert him that he’s going 15 mph under the speed limit, I gave him a little honk, thinking he’d get the message, as we were just passing the speed limit sign. However, he chose instead to hit his brakes – almost causing me to hit him. When I was finally able to pass him, he gave me an awful look like he was so mad at me.
