The '90s girl group of TLC was one of the most successful of all time. The trio of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli were not only crazy, sexy, cool, but also confident, tomboyish yet feminine, fashionable, beautiful and talented women. Each individual brought something unique to the table. T-Box, whose real name is Tionne Watkins, was the trendy one; Lisa “Lefteye” Lopes was the more edgy one and Rozonda Thomas, better known as Chilli, was the laid back one.
Anyone who grew up in the '90s knew who TLC was and could probably recite half of their songs. They were truly a force to be reckoned with. Some of their singles touched on sex and social issues, done in a way only this group of ladies could bring it. The songs spoke to young people the way other groups may have hoped for, but couldn't attain. There will never be another group like TLC. They set themselves apart in their era and became role models for their many fans.
