Tuesday’s ratings were mixed for the networks, as CBS clearly drew the most viewers, but NBC won in the key ratings demographic. The two networks were powered by their top shows, NCIS and The Voice.
CBS averaged 15.46 million viewers, but its 2.6 18-49 rating was just behind NBC. NCIS drew a whopping 18.58 million viewers and a 3.0 18-49 rating, notes HitFix. NCIS: LA had 14.87 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating, while Person of Interest finished the night with 13 million viewers and a 2.2 18-49 rating. It was the first night of the season that it won the 10 p.m. slot in both viewers and in the key demo.
NBC had 9 million viewers and a night-best 2.7 18-49 rating. Biggest Loser had 6.64 million viewers and a 2.0 18-49 rating, reports TheWrap. The Voice had 12.9 million viewers and a 4.0 rating, while Chicago Firehad 7.6 million and a 2.1. That tied the show’s season low. ABC had 5.07 million viewer sand a 1.7 18-49 rating. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD had just 7.13 million viewers and a 2.6 18-49 rating, a series low so far. The Goldbergs (1.7 18-49 rating) and Trophy Wife (1.2) followed. Trophy Wife also hit a new low.
Fox’s sitcoms averaged 3.5 million viewers and a 1.5 18-49 rating. Brooklyn Nine-Nine surprisingly drew more viewers than New Girl with 3.78 million. New Girl had 3.76 million and a 1.8 18-49 rating.
THe CW’s Originals scored 2.15 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating, while Supernatural had 2.3 million and a 1.0 key demo rating.
