Fox and the Boston Red Sox were both winners on Wednesday night. The World Series Game 6 easily won the night in the ratings.
According to Deadline, Fox handily beat all the other networks for the night. Game 6 drew in 18 million viewers and a 5.4 rating in the all-important 18-49 key demographic.
CBS came in behind Fox for the night. Survivor dropped to a series low with a 2.3 in the rating, while Criminal Minds similarly fell to a 2.4, which is an 11 percent drop. The network averaged a 2.2 in the demo and 9.75 million viewers. CSI was also down to a 1.8, a series low.
The Los Angeles Times reports that ABC came in third as the series inches closer to deciding which series to continue. The Middle dropped to a 2.1 rating. Back in the Game stayed low at a 1.7 and Super Fun Night dropped 14 percent to a 1.8, which don't look good for its chances. Nashville similarly fell.
Modern Family was a rerun, but still managed to draw in a 2.2 rating and outdo several new episodes of programs on ABC.
NBC only had one new episode of the night, from Revolution, which stayed even with last week at a 1.4 demo rating.
Deadline notes that the CW was down, with Arrow dropping 22 percent to a 0.7. The Tomorrow People managed to hold on from the previous week at a 0.6 demo rating.
