The World Series continues to help Fox in the ratings, but it wasn't enough to dethrone NBC on Monday nights in the key 18-49 demographic. Game 5 also didn't take much out of any shows for the night.
Game 5 of the World Series gave Fox the night in terms of viewers, with the channel averaging 12.54 million, but only a 3.5 in the 18-49 demo, HitFix reports.
While Fox lead the night in total viewers, NBC had the important key demographic tuning in for its shows on Monday night. Singing competition The Voice drew in 12.47 million viewers and a 4.0 in the key demo, with numbers increasing to 13.46 million and a 4.4 in the show's second hour. The Blacklist was up to a 3.1 rating and had 10.66 million viewers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC averaged a 2.0 rating and 12.2 million viewers, which was good enough for third place. Dancing With the Stars remained steady with the previous week at a 2.0 rating. Castle increased slightly to a 2.1, but managed to beat Blacklist in total viewers for the 10 p.m. time slot.
CBS came in fourth for the night with a 2.1 in the demo and 6.6 million viewers. How I Met Your Mother remains consistent, only dropping slightly to a 2.9 in the rating for the night. Mom was down to a 2.1 for the slot. Hostages also continues its meager climb to a 1.3 on the night.
The CW averaged 999,000 viewers for the night and a 0.4 rating in the demo with the network's two shows. Hart of Dixie stayed even with a 0.4 rating as did Beauty and the Beast with a 0.3 rating.
