Ashton Kutcher has been name Forbes’ highest paid television actor. As star of CBS’ Two and a Half Men, Kutcher made about $24 million between June 2012 and June 2013.
Although Men is in syndication, where a lot of the cash flow come from, much of Kutcher’s money comes from his smart investments. He bought early stakes in tech companies like Foursquare and Path.
His Two and Half Men co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus Jones also made the Forbes list, with Cryer coming in behind Kutcher at $21 million and Jones at $11 million and seventh on the list. This is Jones’ last year on the show as a series regular after urging viewers not to watch and calling the show “filth” in a viral video.
Reuters notes Ray Romano came in third on the list with $16 million in earning for June 2012 to June 2013 because of syndication money from Everybody Loves Raymond.
Rounding out the top five are How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris and NCIS” Mark Harmon in tie for fourth at $15 million and Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey in the fifth spot earning $13 million.
