Vanessa Simmons, 30 is pregnant and she’s having a girl with her boyfriend Mike Wayans. She revealed the news on her Instagram account on Monday, with the caption”a little princess on the way.”
She told Us Weekly that she’s already five months pregnant.
“We are both very excited about the birth of our first child. We totally were expecting it to be a boy all along but got very surprised when we found out it was indeed a girl. I immediately went out and brought a cute outfit for her right after the appointment.”
She was also very nervous telling her dad, Joseph Simmons aka Rev Run from the rap group Run DMC about her pregnancy. Rev Run is religious and she admitted that she didn’t think he will approve since she is having a baby out of wedlock.
“I was very nervous telling my dad at first because I’m not married yet, but he was very excited and was supportive 100 percent.”
Her boyfriend Mike Wayans also has a famous father who is comedian and actor Damon Wayans. They have been dating for eight years. The due date for the unnamed baby girl is February 13.
