This week on America’s Next Top Model, the contestants went batty after learning two more of them would be sent home, but only after a week of health issues, drama, and fierce photo shoots.

The remaining models weren’t pleased that sweetheart Nina was sent home last week instead of smart-mouth Chris. And they weren’t shy about letting him know, either. Back at the house the models ganged up on Chris for turning his back on Nina and then “putting on a performance” by fake crying when she was cut. Chris denied everything and stormed out of the room (his usual tactic).

It’s a good thing that the models had a chance to release all of their pent-up energy and frustration with each other with a healthy competition the next day. They arrived at a beach for a workout challenge with Cycle 19 winner Laura James and judge and male model Rob Evans. A push up and jump roping challenge determined who would get the head start for the main event – racing up a cliff up hundreds of stairs. In the girls’ division, Renee beat Jourdan, but Jourdan fainted when she reached the top of the stairs. Renee thought she was just being dramatic because she lost. In the guys’ challenge, Marvin was the winner.

As their prize, Renee and Marvin were treated to a day at the spa. Although they were massaged by the hot springs’ jets, Marvin said, “being there with Renee massaged my heart.” Aww!

The next day, the models arrived at a temple full of bats for their photo shoot. They had the chance to become one with the bats, hanging upside down in a room full of them. Surprisingly, it was Marvin was the most frightened of the creatures; he said they reminded him of rats!

Despite his fear, Marvin rocked his photo shoot in a gray bat-like swath of fabric. Jourdan, in red, also posed with confidence. When it was Renee’s turn, however, she became dizzy from hanging upside down and passed out! Who else can’t believe that both girls fainted in the same week!

Chris stayed conscious, but in his photo shoot, he got off to a rough start, frustrating the photographers, as usual. Cory struggled to rock his androgyny despite the photographer asking for more masculinity.

At panel, judge Kelly Cutrone went wild with the metaphors. She said that Renee looked like a kite that was caught in an electrical wire in her photo, and in his, Chris looked like a toddler who escaped with a Halloween costume. Ouch. As usually, Rob Evans thought Cory’s photo was too feminine while Tyra and Kelly loved it.

The judges’ scores, challenge scores, and social media scores were added up and the models called back into the room to learn which two would be eliminated. The first one out was Renee, whose dizzy spell in the photo shoot cost her from getting a good photo. Chris was eliminated next (at long last!).
Tyra chose theme colors for the three remaining models, so their fans at home could show their support. Jourdan was given “sunrise smize,” Marvin “booch blue,” and Cory “fierce fuchsia.”

Now we all know what to wear next week when we watch the three finalists compete in a runway show! Who do you want to see win? Comment below! Don’t miss the next episode next Friday at 9 p.m. on the CW.
