Drew’s friend Natalie knocks on his door. Being a little drunk, she admits, she starts kissing him. He puts the lacrosse stick on the front of his door notifying his roommate that he doesn’t want to be disturbed.

At the Luncheonette, Ashes To Rome are playing but lead singer Oliver is “not feeling it,” as Crosby and Amber are in the sound booth. Amber heads into the studio as Oliver goes into the sound booth and starts arguing with Crosby. The drummer and Amber joke about what they are saying, when Crosby and Oliver start pushing each other. Amber goes heads in to control the situation and the drummer seems to like Amber.

Julia listens to a voicemail on her cell phone from Ed about not getting a job. She seems somewhat infatuated, beginning to listen back to the message again, but then quickly stopping feeling guilty.

Joel is working late and Julia walks into his work trailer. He begins to talk to her but as she opens up her coat wearing only a bra and panties she admits she didn’t go to him to talk. As they begin to get things started you see Julia still feels guilty about earlier.

Drew is feeling confident while he’s brushing his teeth in the co-ed bathrooms. Natalie walks in, not really talking just stating that she’s hung over, and quickly gets in the shower only mumbling a good-bye to Drew.
Camille goes over lists of contacts and bills that need to be paid, and fills up pill-boxes for Zeek as she readies to leave for Italy.
Max is helping Hank with a photo shoot and stumbles on a picture of his Aunt Sarah. He asks if he still likes her but Hank says only as a friend. Max keeps grilling him questions as Hank tries to quickly answer or avoid them, stating that things didn’t work out between Sarah and him because they both had baggage.

Amber has gotten the band lunch and the drummer states “Everyone should have an ‘Amber’,” and puts his arm around her just as Ryan walks in. Amber goes and talks with Ryan. He states his friend can come up and be a witness for them to get married. Amber says that since her talk with her Mom went so well that she wants to have a ceremony. She has to go back to work before they can discuss details.

The whole Braverman family, sans Joel because he’s working late again, sits down for dinner at Zeek and Camille’s. Max tells the family that Hank has a huge picture of Sarah, and about him and Hanks conversation about people having baggage. Camille makes the announcement that she’s going to Italy. They all say how great it is and how it will be a great trip for the both of them. Camille admits she’s going alone and the table goes quiet. They ask Zeek why he’s not going and he just asks for someone to pass the potatoes.

Sarah confronts Hank about what Max talked about, stating that even though he asks 20 questions, doesn’t mean that he needs to give Max 20 answers. Frustrated, Hank states that maybe it’s not a good idea that Max hangs out with him. Hank walks away stating that he has a shoot to do.

Adam, Crosby and Amber listen to a track that Ashes To Rome recorded and it’s not very good. Amber comes up with an idea of having an audience come in as they record, knowing that it will spark some energy into Oliver.

Adam, Crosby, Sarah and Julia are at a coffeehouse discussing why their Mom is taking a separate vacation from their Dad. Julia speaks up for her Mom, being the only one of them that knows about their Mom’s wish for an Act III. Julia states this isn’t all about their Dad, and that their Mom should be doing something for herself, and the rest of them fall silent.
Drew waits for Natalie to come out of her room, acting as though it wasn’t planned, and invites her to the event at The Luncheonette. She states she’s in a hurry for class and to just text her.

Julia yells at the kids for leaving their toys everywhere. Frustrated, mainly at herself, Julia calls Joel but he’s too busy to really talk being at work. Soon as she hangs up with him, she receives a silly text message from Ed, which puts a smile on her face.

Kristina drops Nora off with Adam at The Luncheonette, and starts talking to Amber, who’s stressed out from planning the wedding and planning the event. Amber asks Kristina how Adam proposed and she states how she knew it was right, and as she tells the story Amber seems to question marrying Ryan.

Julia lends Camille her suitcase, raving about how great it is and all the details about it. Julia tells her how proud she is for doing this. Camille states this is about her, “the other person in the marriage.” Julia begins to cry but passes it off as just being happy for her Mom.
The crowd gathers at The Luncheonette as Amber directs people where to go. Ryan comes and Amber is genuinely excited to see him, but he doesn’t seem into it. Drew walks in and talks to his uncles, Adam and Crosby, and Drew tells them about meeting Natalie there. She does show up but with a group of friends too.

About to begin, Oliver tunes his guitar, and everyone just watches in silence. Adam, Crosby and Amber watch hesitantly in the sound booth. Suddenly, after another few seconds, Oliver starts to play and the band joins in. Happy with the way they are sounding, Adam congratulates Amber on the idea.

Natalie thanks Drew for inviting her. She invites him to go out to a bar but he states he has to help his sister clean up. Natalie states that their night together was just a hook-up and that she is just looking to have fun. Drew lies and says that it’s fine.

Amber comes out of the sound booth hi-fiving the band, and hugs the drummer, as Ryan looks on. Amber turns around and sees him, runs over and gives him a kiss and a hug. Ryan congratulates her on how well the event went.

Adam confronts Zeek about going to Italy. Zeek spills to Adam about Camille’s idea for Act III, and states that being at the house is his Act III. After Adam tells Zeek to “suck it up” and go on vacation with his wife, Zeek admits that the real reason he isn’t going is because he wasn’t invited.

Julia closes her laptop after frustratingly looking at jobs online. She picks up the phone and calls Ed, and talks about how bad of week she’s having. Obviously flirting with her, Ed tells her his week hasn’t been very good either, until she called.

Hanks goes and sees Sarah, and admits that having Max around is not only good for Max but good for him as well.

Ryan asks Amber to close her eyes and when she opens them he’s holding an engagement ring in his hand. She’s astonished and he puts the ring on her finger stating that it’s now official. Before she can really say anything he kisses her.

Drew opens the door and it’s Natalie. He tries to tell her that he’s confused by her behavior but then he says that he should just stop talking and they begin kissing. He hangs the lacrosse stick on the door.

Zeek walks Camille to an awaiting cab to take her to the airport. They hug good-bye and she gets in, then quickly gets back out and kisses and hugs Zeek good-bye. They wave to each other as the cab pulls away.

Alone in the house, Zeek sets off the house alarm by opening the window, and can’t remember the code to turn it off. He stares out the window sighing.
