Cigar smoking, playing golf in the backyard, eating whatever he wants, Zeek is living up the bachelor life as Camille is in Italy.

Jabbar practices ballet and Crosby wishes he had stuck with basketball.
Discussing that they have a meeting with Victor’s teachers, Julia tells Joel that they will probably hold him back. Sydney overhears and doesn’t want Victor in her class.

Amber brings out menus for Crosby and the band to choose from for lunch. They all notice her engagement ring and give her a hard time about it.
Sarah’s tenant Carl invites her to a party.

At Kristina’s house/campaign office, the polls show Kristina is only 2 points behind Bob Little in the mayoral race. Heather gets a call about an incident with Adam.

Adam is out jogging as he approaches home, a swarm of news reporters surround him asking about his anger issues. He yells at them to get off his property and he makes his way inside.

Heather, Adam, and Julia talk about the media running a story on Adam punching a guy after he insulted Max. Heather suggests they find something negative on Bob Little. Kristina doesn’t want to reveal the incident with Bob and Amber when she was running his campaign.

Amber comes home to Ryan as he’s making dinner and he asks if anyone noticed her new ring. She says they all made a really big deal out it, and Ryan is happy to hear they were impressed. Amber doesn’t seem as happy about it.

Making ridiculous food concoctions, Zeek is visited by Sarah, who brings over some real food for him to eat. Zeek appreciates the food but is annoyed by all the kids checking up on him.

As they play a video game, Crosby asks Jabbar why he likes ballet. Jabbar states he may “love” it.

Julia and Ed are doing their “sustainability” work outside and Julia sees Victor’s teacher. Even though they have a meeting with her and the principle, she convinces the teacher to tell her what is going on. The teacher tells Julia that they are going to recommend Victor go back to the fourth grade. Julia goes into a room and cries. Ed follows her, and gives her a hug.

Kristina confronts Bob about leaking the story about Adam, since she told him in confidence about the incidence when she was running his campaign. He did and Kristina threatens to talk to the press about Amber and his inappropriate relationship. Snidely, Bob shrugs it off and states he knows she’d never do it.

Kristina tells Adam about what happened and she really doesn’t want to start running a negative campaign. They discuss whether to tell Heather about Bob and Amber.

Carl picks up wine that was delivered to Sarah’s for his party. He states even if she doesn’t go to his party and that a woman like her needs to be out on a Saturday night.

Amber goes to Kristina and suggests telling the media about her and Bob. Kristina notices Amber’s ring and Amber admits it’s too big, and she feels bad about Ryan spending all his money. Kristina suggests that since they are going to be married that she go talk with him about finances but Amber’s worried about hurting Ryan’s feelings.

Julia talks to Joel about Victor being moved to the fourth grade. Joel’s upset that Julia cornered the teacher before the meeting. Joel wants to keep Victor in the fifth grade. They start fighting, getting uglier, Joel says she made a poor decision when she quit her job. Julia walks out of the room crying.

Crosby talks to Adam about his struggle with Jabbar taking ballet. Adam tells him he really wanted Max to like baseball but he was more interested in bugs, so Adam learned to take an interest bugs.

Julia talks to Sydney about Victor going back to fourth grade, the grade she is in. She also asks why she and her Dad are fighting so much.
Another story about Adam and Kristina’s “anger” problems is on the internet and Adam pressures Kristina to talk to Heather about the incident with Bob and Amber.

After a movie, Amber talks to Ryan about the ring, and her concerns about finances. With his feelings hurt, Ryan states he’ll try to take back the ring.

Crosby talks to Jasmine and states that even though it’s not his first choice, he’s OK with Jabbar taking ballet. Jasmine tries to convince Crosby to go to one of his classes.

Saturday, Joel has to rush out in the morning for work. Julia follows him and express the concern Sydney has with them fighting. Abruptly, he says that they’ll have to do better at keeping it quiet.
Sarah and Zeek watch a football game, and Sarah can’t believe that there is just game after game all day long. Zeek suggests that Sarah go out, and have fun, meet new people…and that she’s annoying him. Sarah builds up the courage to go to Carl’s party.

Kristina calls a press conference outside her house to talk about the inappropriate relationship Bob had with Amber. When she gets up to the podium to speak, she can’t bring herself to do it.

Ryan comes home to Amber and states he was able to take the ring back. She invites him to bed but he cracks open a beer and says he just wants to relax for a little bit, and sits down on the other side of the room.
Julia and Joel go to Victor’s room and tell him that they’ve decided, along with his teacher, that he’s going back to fourth grade. Crying and angry, Victor tells them to leave his room. Joel is upset that Julia didn’t try and fight for him to stay in the fifth grade.

Zeek talks to Camille via Skype. Although they are happy to talk to each other, Camille cuts the call short because she has to leave with the rest of her art class. She hangs up before Zeek can say that he loves her.

In the polls, Kristina is down 4 more points in the poll. Adam tries to assure her it will be OK and that she can still win.

Sarah shows up at Carl’s apartment, and instead of the 20-somethings he usually hangs out with, she walks into a very classy party. Carl starts to introduce her around.

Crosby finally makes it into one of Jabbar’s ballet classes and watches him proudly.
