ABC has finished setting the schedule for the network's midseason and one of the interesting moves is that the Revenge is moving to a later time.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, due to struggling in the ratings, ABC has decided to move Revenge to 10 p.m. on Sundays, instead of at 9 p.m. The nighttime soap returns to TV on March 9.
New show Resurrection will take over Revenge's old slot on Sundays. One new show that was expected to debut during the midseason, Quest, has been pushed back until the summer to debut.
The network's midseason schedule is aiming to reduce the need for repeats of some shows, such as Scandal and Grey's Anatomy, notes Variety. Both programs do not return from break until Feb. 27. The only question mark is what will air in place of Nashville as it also goes on an extended break during this period.
Thursday nights will see the return of reality show The Taste, which will be followed by event series The Assets. The new show is based off the real events of Sandy Grimes, a CIA counter-intelligence officer.
The Bachelor returns to Mondays on Jan. 6. Tuesday nights will feature freshmen show Killer Women. Suburgatory will take the slot from the ending Back in the Game on Wednesday nights and Mixology will debut after Modern Family.
