Pretty sure everyone saw this one coming! Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has been named Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine.
It has been rumored for a few days that Levine would win, but tonight’s announcement finally makes it official.
Levine now joins sexy actors Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Channing Tatum who have all earned the title in the past, reports USA Today. The Voice judge is extremely excited that he was named Sexiest Man Alive, but he could hardly believe it when he got the news.
"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer told People in the magazine’s cover story on him. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."
In the article, Levine went on to talk about his ripped physique, saying that he gives yoga and spinning all the credit for keeping him in shape and that he enjoys lounging around in the nude. Adorably, Levine added in his interview with People that he always cries when he watches E.T.
But don’t get too excited too fast, girls. Levine is reportedly happily engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo.
This past year has been busy for Levine, not only with Maroon 5. The singer also appeared on the show American Horror Story and was in the film Can A Song Save Your Life? along with Mark Ruffalo and Kiera Knightley.
"This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction," Levine told People. "And I'm not taking any of it for granted."
I think we can all agree that this title is well deserved for Levine!
