Amanda Bynes has been declared mentally competent to stand trial after undergoing months of psychotherapy.

Los Angeles Superior Court mental health department has declared after a closed-door hearing on Wednesday, “Defendant found mentally competent. Criminal proceedings are reinstated."

People reports that the criminal proceedings have to do with the charges against her, such as her 2012 DUI arrest, two counts of hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.

Over the summer, Bynes was placed in a 5150 psychiatric hold after starting a fire in her neighbor’s driveway in California. She has since been at both the UCLA medical center and transfered to The Canyons in Malibu.

A report surfaced earlier this month that she would be out of rehab in time for the holidays.

A string of bizarre behavior led Bynes down a concerning path, with the former What I Like About You star often posting strange comments on Twitter. She was also accused of smoking marijuana in her NYC apartment building and throwing a bong out of the window when police arrived.
