According to the Mirror UK/a>, Angelina’s heart shaped island is just off the coast of New York and costs a cool $12 million. The heart shaped island is 11 acres and boasts a helipad and two homes designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Pitt has a love for architecture and is a big fan of Wright’s. The small cottage measures 1200 feet and was built in 1950. The larger of the two homes was built in 2008, 9 years before Wright’s death.
Angelina Jolie most likely chose the island for several reasons including her family’s needs. The island with its homes seems an appropriate vacation home as well as a place to stay when either she or Pitt are filming in New York.
