There are certain topics that are off limits around her 3-year-old daughter Bryn, and Bethenny Frankel opened up about it in a recent interview.

The Bethenny talk show host, 42, said she will not talk about dieting or weight around Bryn, her daughter with estranged husband Jason Hoppy, even though she's built a brand around living a healthy lifestyle.

She told ABC News it’s best to have “an energy at home with your children where you don't talk about weight and you don't talk about dieting or anything like that."

She continued, "If you start giving your kids anxiety about food, it's going to last a lifetime," she said. "Moms have to lead by example. Don't say, 'Oh, my jeans don't fit,' or 'Oh, I was bad.' No diets, nothing like that."

Meanwhile, Frankel is also responding to a recent guest on her show’s claims that she was being judgmental on the show.

She said of Farrah Abraham, “[I like to] have a conversation with someone that I think will show a different side, and a different conversation, and reflect human behavior, but a lot of those people are controversial for a reason, and they like to be controversial. That’s what their brand is, being controversial and continuing to do that.”

She added, “It’s really the people that are known for being controversial, there’s a reason for it, and they leave and they kind of plant seeds so they will grow to make it 15 or 16 minutes.”
