Bon Jovi is allegedly interested in buying the Buffalo Bills when the team goes up for sale.
According to CBS Sports, the rock musician has been spending quite a bit of time in the area, acquainting himself with politicians and power brokers, as well as NFL owners and general managers.
Jovi almost became minority owner of the Atlanta Falcons, but is now looking to be principal owner of the Bills. The "Make a Memory" singer is also friends with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and frequently attends NFL meetings across the country.
Jovi recently dismissed his longtime guitarist Richie Sambora, who was the highest-paid member of his band. This move will the musician a considerable amount of money, not having such a renown guitarist playing for him and will free him up to make a business endeavor such as ownership of the Bills.
The Wilson family does not yet have a person chosen to take over ownership of the team once current owner, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., 95, passes away. The Buffalo News reports that Rogers Communications, who already have a deal with the Bills and work closely with the Wilson family, is the top contender for the franchise.
