Despite reports, Brad Pitt will not be getting a heart-shaped island from Angelina Jolie for his 50th birthday party. He better not have gotten his hopes up.
The news cropped up Monday that the Changeling actress was buying Pitt the island of Petra in upstate New York.
The island is on sale for $19.9 million and is 11 acres in size and features a helipad. Petra features two homes on the island that are based on designs from famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
However, the reports were not true, CNBC reports. A source close to the situation said, "We have no idea how this rumor got started. The property is still on the market."
The island is also still on the market for the sleek $19.9 million price tag. Those selling the island have not received any calls from Jolie or anyone else. "I don't even think this would be right for them," another person said. "It's not really private enough."
Pitt is currently on set filming his World War II movie Fury, with Shia LaBeouf. Jolie is working on the sequels Salt 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3 and will be seen in next year's Maleficent.
