British singer Cher Lloyd got married in a secret ceremony on Monday, Nov. 18. She exchanged vows with hairdresser Craig Monk.

A rep for Lloyd has confirmed the wedding and the former X Factor U.K. contestant shared a photo with her fans on Instagram.

"Cher and Craig are married but all other details are private," her rep told E! Online.

She also tweeted on Wednesday, “Thank you for all your lovely messages !! I'm so happy!!! (: xxx.”

The 20-year-old singer met her now-husband, 23, at Mayfair's Four salon when he did her hair extensions in 2011. They announced they were engaged in January 2012 and she openly talked about wanting to get married as soon as possible.

She has also spoken out about criticism that she’s too young to be married, firing back to the Daily Mirror saying, “People are negative no matter what you do. People are always going to say, 'She's too young!' I'm from a Gypsy background! I'm meant to be married by now.”
