Chris Brown is back in rehab and his mother is not happy. She reportedly blames his friends for his outrageous behavior, alleging that they have got him addicted to drugs and have changed his personality. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran is still supporting him.
On Wednesday, a judge sent Brown back to rehab, following his own voluntary stay for anger management treatment. That rehab stint only lasted 16 days, even though his rep said he’d be there for three months. The judge decided that he needed to go back for the full three months and will have to do 24 hours of community service a week. He also has to take drug tests.
Now, TMZ is reporting that Brown’s mother believes that her son has been transformed into a thug by his friends. She also holds them responsible for getting him into drugs.
Brown and his mother haven’t been on the best terms for a while, since she’s convinced his friends are only out for money and fame. Sources for TMZ say that Brown has shown up stoned when meeting his mother and that was the last straw for her.
If his mother’s not supporting him, at least Tran is. As Hollywood Life notes, she was by Tran’s side on Wednesday at court. “They were together afterwards and she held his hand when they walked out, and in the car ride home, he laid his head on her shoulder,” a source told the site.
The site’s source said that Tran has been fully supportive, offering him a shoulder to cry on.
Brown’s next court date is set for Dec. 16.
