Less than a month after he was arrested in Washington, D.C. for getting into a fight with a man, singer Chris Brown has checked out of his rehab facility.

After being released from jail without bail at the end of last month, Brown entered a rehab facility for anger management. His goal was to reportedly “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

TMZ reports that, when he checked in, Brown was supposedly supposed to stay for three months, but he has decided to leave the facility after only two weeks.

"Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area. He appreciates all of your encouragement and support," Brown’s rep told People.

Brown is still on probation following his assault of singer Rihanna in 2009 when he was arrested last month and charged with a misdemeanor assault charge, reports ABC News. The 24-year-old singer could now face four years in prison if a judge revokes his probation because of last month’s assault.

Brown still has to complete 1,000 hours of community service as ordered by a judge in the Rihanna assault case last year. He will appear in front of a judge next week to assess his probation progress.
