Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, are expanding their family. Pataky is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Hemsworth’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple’s daughter, India Rose, 18 months, will soon have a sibling.

Pataky, 37, has previously opened up about motherhood, saying “You become more sensitive about a lot of things. With things like this, the ocean, you want to protect it for your kid to be able to see the world the way I saw it. That's important for them to not lose it. There are so many animals endangered now in the ocean; it'll be sad she won't enjoy all those things."

The Spanish magazine Hola! also reported Pataky is expecting a baby.

The Thor actor, 30, whose brother is Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, has previously gushed about fatherhood as well.

He told People being a father a “task,” and “the best one that I could ever ask for.”

Hemsworth added, “Being home, being with the family, that’s what it’s about. It makes me much more relaxed with work. To be honest, because I have something that is far more important to me now — and that is the priority — I get to just enjoy the work for what it is.”
