Rumors are out that the Guardians of the Galaxy lead is being looked at to play the lead for the upcoming dino sequel Jurassic World directed by Colin Trevorrow and written by Derek Connolly. While these are still rumors, the Parks and Recreation star is getting a lot of attention.
According to The Wrap the allegations are still just rumors as if Pratt were to be the lead role, that would mean they've already worked out any scheduling conflicts with Pratt's Parks and Recreation and so far nothing has been said. Life of Pi's Irrfan Khan is also rumored to be casted for the sequel who would then join Bryce Dallas Howard, and Ty Simpkins for the 2015 tent-pole.
Josh Brolin was originally slated to play the role that Pratt is rumored for but according to Variety discussions about salary and scheduling became an issue for Brolin and led to the drop, but nothing other than that had been discussed. What do you think, is Chris Pratt a good choice to lead in such a universal franchise, or should they choose someone with a bigger name?
