The CW has given full season orders for its three freshmen shows, The Originals, The Tomorrow People and Reign.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the shows already received orders for three additional scripts back in October, before Reign had even premiered.

The CW has been improving in the ratings, as the network is currently up 9 percent in year-over-year totals and up 10 percent in the important key 18-49 demo. DVR numbers paint an even better picture of how the network is doing as 31 percent of viewers watch the CW's programs.

The Originals, the Vampire Diaries spinoff, has been doing well in its Tuesday night time slot, averaging 2 million viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, Deadline reports.

Tomorrow People and Reign are doing acceptable in their time slots, both averaging 0.6 in the key demo Reign has struggled somewhat in viewers, but has slowly seen critics and the younger demo begin to tune in.

"In just a few seasons, we have built a much stronger primetime schedule," CW President Mark Pedowitz said. "Our on-air ratings are up year to year and our digital viewing continues to grow exponentially."
