With the over abundance of technology, perfecting penmanship—mainly cursive, is a thing of the past. Where most were required to learn cursive in elementary school, most schools have dropped the requirement from the curriculum and have opted for keyboarding lessons. However, seven states, California, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Utah are taking a stand and attempting to save cursive. These seven states believe cursive engages more areas of the brain and results in better learning abilities.

According to Director Fredrik Bond, the Transformers star, dropped acid in preparation for his role in Charlie Countryman. Although, his character does ecstasy in the movie, LaBeouf dropped acid claiming he would be going out on a limb and pushing the envelope for his roll.

English Folk singer, Roy Harper has been charged nine counts of sexual assault against a 12-year-old girl. According to West Mercia Police, the abuse allegedly took place during 1975-1977 and only involved one victim. The 72-year-old has collaborated with Pink Floyd and has influenced Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Fleet Foxes. Harper is expected in court Monday.

Every year, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a highly anticipated holiday event. The models strut down the runway wearing the upcoming year’s hottest lingerie and swimwear to the music of one of this year’s hottest artists. This year however, the show fell short of that tradition according to model, Jessica Hart. The Victoria Secret model stated she didn’t feel Taylor Swift fit the show. Swift performed, “I Knew You Were Trouble,” and while many of the models thought she did great, Hart said it takes more experience and confidence to make it in that world.

San Francisco will have their very own real Batkid as the city is transforming into Gotham City Friday to fulfill a Make A Wish dream. 5-year-old, Miles Scott was diagnosed with Leukemia at just 18 months old and has always been a fan of Batman. Scott’s day included saving the Giants mascot, stopping a bank “robbery” and meeting the mayor at city hall where he will be presented with a key to the city.
