Dez Bryant, WR of the Dallas Cowboys, has been quite busy off the field this holiday season. At the beginning of November, according to his official website http://dezbryant.com, he joined Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins, at Dallas City Hall, to kick off the seventh annual Home For The Holidays Toy Drive And Adopt-a-Family Campaign. The goal of the campaign is to help bring joy to families that otherwise wouldn't have much of a Christmas due to the downturn in the economy. Those who attended the press conference could contribute, unwrapped new toys, clothing or gift cards at the conclusion of the conference.
Most recently, Mr. Bryant, made headlines when he showed up to purchase a Sony Playstation 4 on the night of the new video game system's launch, and surprised other Dallas shoppers who were waiting in line by purchasing one for them, too!
The happy recipients of Mr. Bryant's Random Act of Kindness, posted pictures and commented on twitter about what had just happened.
There's no doubt, this would be a night that would never be forgotten! Even if they weren't fans, I'm sure they are fans of Dez Bryant's now!
And if you thought Mr. Bryant was done "giving" this month, check out his twitter account, @DezBryant, and tell him who you are thankful for and why. It might get you a really nice prize!
