Drew Barrymore, who recently confirmed she’s pregnant with her second child, was honored at the Baby2Baby gala at Book Bindery in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by The Soup’s Joel McHale and attended by other celebrity moms such as Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, Rachel Zoe and more.

The nonprofit organization Baby2Baby provides with children up to age 12 with everyday essentials. Barrymore called it the “perfect organization.”

“I work really closely with them because I wish that there were organizations like Baby2Baby for so many more areas in life," she said, The Hollywood Reporter notes.

"I think good people are inherent givers and so to have a place where you can give so much and it’s so local and so well organized and so perfect for mothers to share for mothers … I think this is the perfect organization for moms,” she added.

Barrymore confirmed her second pregnancy this past week, saying “yes, it’s happening, it’s true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible.”

The actress and husband Will Kopelman are already parents to 14-month-old Olive. She said at the event that Olive “definitely gets it,” adding, “She points to my stomach and goes ‘baby.’ How cool is that?"
