LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have confirmed they’re trying to have a baby, with Rimes saying she’s hoping to have a baby girl.
In an interview with Extra, the couple said they’re actively trying to have a baby.
"We work on it often,” said Rimes, to which Cibrian, who has two kids; Mason, 9, and Jake, 5, with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, said "But nothing's popped out!"
Rimes added, I know, sorry. I think about it often. We talk about it." She added she wants to figure out where her professional life is heading, since she’s ending a 20-year recording contract next month.
"One step at a time. It's like starting my life all over again. That's kind of, like, my original baby,” she said. Cibrian added, "She wants a little girl, badly."
Us Weekly notes one thing is for sure – the couple is shooting their own reality show LeAnn & Eddie for VH1.
Cibrian recently shot down rumors the two are separating while promoting his new film The Best Man Holiday.
"[The rumors have] been going on for so long. They're just absurd, and to give any validity to any of these things, it's crazy,” he said.
