Elizabeth Olsen cast in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

Elizabeth Olsen has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron.

According to E! Online, the actress confirmed the exciting news that she would appear in Marvel’s blockbuster in an interview with MTV while she was promoting Oldboy.

Business Insider reports that the 24-year-old Olsen sister will play the part of Quicksilver’s sister, better known as the Scarlet Witch.

Since Aaron Taylor-Johnson is reportedly being slated to play the role of Quicksilver, Mary-Kate and Ashley’s younger sister will get a chance to share the screen once more with her Godzilla remake costar.

“We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister," Olsen said. "It's also fun because even though in Godzilla we play husband and wife, we don't have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I'm so excited we get to work with each other more and to actually work with each other. I think it's going to be fun."

Olsen also recently connected with another Avengers star at the New York City premiere of Oldboy. Olsen shared the carpet with Samuel L. Jackson, who stars in the movie and plays Nick Fury in the Avengers.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1, 2015. Olsen will be joined on screen by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and James Spader.
