Miranda Lambert showed off a noticeably thinner figure at the 47th annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on Wednesday. On the red carpet, she talked about her secret to losing the pounds.
Lambert talked about how her age factored into it, saying she’s turning 30 soon and knows it can be harder to stay in shape.
"You know what, I fluctuate all the time in my weight—it's really annoying—but I'm going to be 30 in like four days, so I'm like, 'I need to get ahead of this thing!' Because they say when you hit 30 it doesn't get easier," she told E! News. "So I thought, 'Well, you know, if I get a little healthier before I turn 30, maybe I can get ahead of the game.'"
Blake Shelton’s wife also said she’s been "working out and drinking juice and just running, running around."
Lambert wore a blue Roberto Cavalli gown with a plunging neckline. She also told People backstage of her CMA Award for female vocalist of the year, "I've been working out, but this thing is heavy!”
