Proud parents Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel recently revealed that they spend a lot of time singing songs to their three-month-old son Axl Jack.
“The songs that are written [lately are] little ditties and Josh and I sing them to our child,” Fergie told People. “They’re quite funny … we’re like that couple on Best In Show who sing to their pets about their pets … that’s how these songs are.”
And it seems that they're not just singing for nothing - baby Axl actually responds to his parent's singing voices. “He is very responsive to the songs,” the 28-year-old said. “He starts kicking and he’s smiling, and he tries to make noise and sing along. It’s amazing. He loves our songs!”
The singer revealed that while she works at home, she loves putting Axl Jack at the top of her priority list. “He’s just smiling at us now and it’s just the best thing in the world,” Fergie said. “It’s the best part of my day.”
At three months, the baby does a little more than just smile. In fact, Fergie told Huffington Post about an incident Duhamel experienced recently. "My husband, he got, sharted on, I guess you could say," she laughed. "And I watched it happen and it was pretty amazing."
