Giada De Laurentis cut her finger Saturday, resulting in a bloody mess on the live TV for the Food Network's annual Thanksgiving Live special.
According to Radar Online, De Laurentiis attempted to use to cut a turkey roll she'd just made, but the knife slipped and she caught her finger instead.
De Laurentiis appeared on the holiday special alongside Alton Brown, Bobby Flay and Ina Garten. A witness reported, “She seemed to go pale and got very quiet putting pressure on it and whispering to Ina that it was bad. She looked like she was about to faint.”
Immediately following the accident, the show cut to a commercial, and then Brown announced that De Laurentiis left to get medical attention for her finger. De Laurentiss remained tough, though, and returned to the show 15 minutes later with a bandaged-up finger.
De Laurentiis shared a before and after photo on Instagram, commenting that she got "an adjustment to my normal mani!"
