Radio shock jock Howard Stern has enjoyed his time on NBC’s America’s Got Talent that he has signed on for a third season. Stern confirmed the news himself this morning on his SiriusXM radio show.
“It started out as a goof. Now it's becoming a job,” Stern told his listeners, reports People. However, he suggested that it might be his last, continuing, “I am very excited to be going back to America's Got Talent. I will go back [for] one more season.”
A source for Entertainment Weekly also confirmed the news. It was also posted on stern’s Twitter page.

Stern said that he didn’t make the decision easily. “I really wanted to decide if this was going to take away too much ... free time. Did I really still enjoy doing it? Did I have something to say? Is it something I should be involved with still?” he said. “I decided I needed a personal life, but that big black hole in me that demands attention ... it won.”
Stern first joined the summer competition series in 2012 and did agree to do a second season after enjoying the first so much. For the 2013 season, he was joined by AGT veteran Howie Mandel and rookies Heidi Klum and Mel B. The show is hosted by Nick Cannon. It’s not known if Klum or Mel B, a former Spice Girl, will be back.
