Actress Jaimie Alexander shocked Thor fans earlier this month when she attended the Los Angeles premiere of Thor: the Dark World wearing a daring sheer-paneled gown.
Alexander, who stars as Lady Sif in the sequel to 2011’s Thor, wore an Azzaro Couture dress to the Nov. 5 premiere of her new film. The dress featured two sheer panels that went from the star’s neck to her feet and left very little to the imagination.
People quickly noticed that Alexander had to go commando in order to wear the gown.
During her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno On Nov. 14, Alexander addressed those rumors and said that she was not, in fact, completely nude underneath the dress, reports US Weekly. When Leno asked the 29-year-old actress if she was wearing anything underneath, she gave a cryptic answer.
"There was something under there," Alexander told the host, not elaborating on just what that “something” was.
She did, however, elaborate on how she kept herself from having any unwanted wardrobe malfunctions in that dress. Alexander told Leno that she used a lot of toupee tape to keep the dress in place, according to the Daily Mail.
Alexander added that she had to walk the carpet “very carefully, flexing every muscle that I don't have so that nothing would move out of place.”
Later in the interview, Alexander was asked about the rumors surrounding her possible role as Wonder Woman in the upcoming film Batman vs. Superman. She bashfully denied the rumors but admitted that she would love to play the role.
'It would definitely be a cool job, I was a huge fan growing up,” she said. “I watched the show, and not just the show the comic books too."
Thor: the Dark World is out in cinemas now.
