Jennifer Aniston has cut her famous hair short. Her longtime hairstylist, Chris McMillan, who is responsible for giving her the famous “Rachel” haircut in the ‘90s for Friends, cut her hair above her shoulders.
Aniston’s hair has been arguably one of the most recognized attributes of the actress. However, she stepped out in LA on Monday looking completely different.
"It's short! It's at my jawline and a little shorter in the back,” Aniston told PopSugar. "I was just ready for a change. I was ready for something new, to get it out of my face, so I could have a bit of an easier go at it."
She said to manager hair she usually puts it "up in a scrunchie of some sort!"
Aniston, who is currently engaged to Justin Theroux, said she did it for herself and not for any work commitment. She told Vogue, “I actually don’t have any red carpets coming up. This is truly just for me!”
Her inspiration was Vogue stylist Lawren Howell and it may not be around for a while bcause Aniston admits she gets “bored.”
“I’m always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the [damage from] hair coloring and stuff like that. And I just got bored, honestly. It’s fun to change it up once in a while,” she said.
