Jennifer Lawrence has achieved a lot of success at the age of 22, winning an Academy Award and headlining one of the biggest movie franchises there is right now.

However, the actress is known for being down-to-earth and explained in a new interview that she prefers to keep her life as simple as possible.

“I want my life as normal as possible. I want to keep it simple…I do not have an assistant. [The person] that helps me is my best friend. At the end of a day of shooting I can go home and hang out with her,” she told a >French magazine Madame Figaro.

She went on to say that she prefers spending time with her childhood friend over someone who would be on her payroll.

“[I do] not [want] to share time with someone who works for me,” she said.

Entertainmentwise notes Lawrence has been busy promoting her upcoming film Hunger Games: Catching Fire with co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. The sequel hits theaters Nov 22.
