The premiere party for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Los Angeles last night was filled with decorations for the rich and famous, but one thing was missing: Jennifer Lawrence.
According to E! Online, Lawrence missed the party because she’s been sick. However, 1,500 other partygoers packed onto the rooftop of a parking garage near the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live to celebrate.
The premiere party was filled with all types of Hunger Games themed items. Once guests arrived, they were greeted with a drum line, then they could speak to people dressed in Capitol garb inside.
Inside the party, yellow and white lights lit up different sections for food and drinks and white roses decorated tables. Guests were served macaroons and Magnum ice cream bars for dessert, but could also visit serving stations that offered beef, chicken, fish, and pasta.

Although Lawrence did not attend, her co-stars Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, and Liam Hemsworth all had reserved seating areas.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the actual premiere hosted a bunch of young hollywood stars. Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Joe Jonas, Ashlee Simpson, Kylie Jenner, Chord Overstreet, Luke Hemsworth, and many others attended.
