After a series of drunken incident over the years, Josh Brolin has entered rehab for substance abuse issues. He has checked into a Northern California rehab center.
Brolin, 45, whose divorce from estranged wife Diane Lane still isn’t finalized, "realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," a source told Us Weekly.
Earlier this month, Brolin got into a public drunken fight with a bouncer in Santa Monica, Calif. After a few punches were thrown, the two ended the dispute by hugging it out. The bouncer even helped Brolin get into a cab while a woman was trying to get his attention. That same weekend he allegedly got into a fight with a cab driver at a Los Angeles Del Taco drive-thru.
He was also arrested in 2008 for a drunken brawl in Louisiana, after wrapping his film W.
He told TMZ after the November incident that he was “done” drinking. When asked if he regretted what happened, he said "Absolutely, it won't be happening again."
