While performing his hit song, “Boyfriend” at Arena Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil on Saturday Nov. 2., Justin Bieber was hit by a water bottle thrown by a fan.

The bottle hit the 19-year-old singer in the hand, causing him to drop his microphone and storm off stage.

The Biebs looked less than pleased as he headed off stage, but luckily he was not seriously injured.

Entertainment Weekly reported the pop star never returned to the stage, stating,
the lights eventually did turn on, unfortunately ending the evening for the concert goers.

The heartthrob, neglecting to talk about the incident after the show, still managed to thank his fans by tweeting, “we had a good time tonight. brazil goes hard.”

He continued on to say, “u all were loud tonight. thanks for the love. it’s all love. all the time. Obrigado Brazil! On to the next one. #BelieveTour again tomorrow.”

Bieber then performed again in Brazil. the following night, where all things went smoothly, just in time for him to enjoy the midnight premier of his latest song, “Bad Day.”
