It’s no secret Kanye West thinks highly of his fiancé Kim Kardashian, but he’s now slamming Sports Illustrated model turned actress Kate Upton to compliment the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

The Yeezus rapper told listeners of Power 105's Breakfast Club radio show that Kardashian is more deserving of channeling Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 100th issue, like Upton did.

"I have a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi, but actually I love them because they are empowering us,” he started to explain.

“They are empowering us over Vanity Fair that want to say that Kate Upton is Marilyn Monroe. Kate Upton ain't Marilyn Monroe, Kim is Marilyn Monroe,” he said, Celebuzz reports.

West has gone on many rants lately on his radio show interview circuit, and he also recently compared his fiance’s family as giving as much influence as The Cosby Show did.

“I’d like to point out that I feel that The Cosby Show that I grew up on is part of the reason why America was prepped to accept, you know, a middle class black family in that way,” he said, adding, “A lot of what the Kardashians do that I don’t think they get enough credit, is they prep America to understand interracial relationships.”
