On October 26, 2013 The Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets, located in Leesburg, VA, hosted its first ever Shop-a-Thon where Washington D.C style and fashion bloggers came together for an afternoon of savings, learning, good times, and VIP shopping.
Upon arrival at Saks Fifth Avenue off 5th we were greeted by May Robinson, Director of Marketing and Business development, who explained the history of the Outlets and shared many plans and upcoming events for the holiday season. Ms. Robinson explained that Premium Outlet Centers are located throughout the United States and internationally, housing popular brand names such as Barneys New York, Tommy Hilfiger, Kate Spade New York, Burberry, Banana Republic, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Anne Taylor, just to name a few. The Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets is home to 110 designer stores.
Premium Outlets promotes a VIP Shopper’s Club that is free to sign up for online, which provides members with exclusive offers, online printable coupons, insider information and email updates. In addition, throughout the month of October, Premium Outlets sponsored the October Pink Event benefitting Susan G. Komen and breast cancer awareness. With a $10.00 donation, shoppers who signed up online or at the information desk could receive an extra 25% off one item from select stores.
The Leesburg Premium Center Outlets has a lot of great events lined up for November starting with the Wrap-it-Up Early Sale from the 8th – 11th. This event provides shoppers with extra savings as well as daily deals of the day. For the first time ever, Prime Outlets will be open for 28 hours straight for the After-Thanksgiving Weekend Sale and Midnight Madness. Select stores will be opening as early as 6pm on Thanksgiving Day, offering additional discounts and savings for the early bird Christmas shopper. Also, beginning November 12, those who make an on-site donation to the Simon Youth Foundation will receive a free gift from Tommy Hilfiger.
