Miley Cyrus turns 21 today, and to help her celebrate, MTV is handing her the reigns to the entire network for an 8-hour birthday bash.

According to MTV, Cyrus will premiere a special showing counting down 21 of her most memorable performances, videos and interviews throughout the years in a special called 21 Candles: Miley's MTV Moments.

21 Candles premieres at 12 p.m. ET/PT. Following the hour-long episode will be Miley: The Movement - Deluxe, which will include commentary and bonus material from Cyrus herself. CNN reports that Cyrus will also air some of her favorite MTV episodes, including Snooki & JWoww and Awkward.

The Movement — Deluxe reveals some of Cyrus' opinions and thoughts on her famous VMA performance with Robin Thicke. "This is when you get to do something fun. I'm a freak. I want to come out of a teddy bear for Christ's sake — with a [foam] hand — I'm just a freak," she tells Thicke in the special footage. "I don't think it's that I'm smarter than anyone else, it's not that I think, 'Oh, you don't get it.' It's just who I am and if I'm gonna perform, I want things around me that I like."

Cyrus is trying out a new look in celebration of her birthday, bleached eyebrows, which she debuted in a photo on Twitter.
