As promised, the survivor members of the British comedy troupe Monty Python officially announced plans for a live stage show.
The live show will take place in London in July of next year, Michael Palin, Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones announced.
At the press conference on Thursday, they said fans should expect antics such as "comedy, pathos, music and a tiny piece of ancient sex,” The BBC reports. They also said they wanted to see if they "were still funny.”
Ahead of the press conference, Jones told BBC, “We're getting together and putting on a show - it's real. I'm quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!"
The comedians’ career started out with Monty Python's Flying Circus, which debuted in 1969 and it spurred cult films like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Life of Brian and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.
