Alec Baldwin has reportedly been fired by MSNBC for his use of gay slurs towards a photographer.
Sources told the New York Post's Page Six that Baldwin's show Up Late With Alec Baldwin was canceled.
An insider told the site, "The decision has been made. He's gone." The source added, "The [parent company] Comcast guys have decided. Word is spreading through the building."
Though the primary reason seems to focus around the gay slur tirade, another source said that his behavior towards co-workers also was a part. Baldwin reportedly demanded a humidifier and a separate makeup room because a lady suffering from cancer was sensitive to hairspray and also used the room.
The 30 Rock actor is said to have yelled, "I don't give a f--k if she has cancer or not, I want that f--king makeup room."
Baldwin has been in hot water ever since he used the phrase "c--ksucking f-g" towards a bothersome reporter. He tried to make amends by speaking at the Dreamforce 2013 conference in San Francisco last week.
He apologized for his actions and said that "there are some men I've loved in my life as much, if not more, than the women in my life."
