Alec Baldwin is currently the host of the late night talk show Up Late on MSNBC, but his latest round of homophobic slurs has led the network to suspend Mr. Baldwin for at least two weeks.

In the wake of Baldwin's court victory over his stalker, he now faces backlash over words he used in an altercation with a photographer. The incident occurred as Baldwin and his wife were leaving their home with their young child. There were photographers outside the building, and Baldwin confronted one of the photographers. According to The New York Daily News , Baldwin initially denied his slurs, but he now admits that he called the photographer a "c---s---ing f-g."

Now, TMZ reports, MSNBC has laid down a penalty for Baldwin's actions. The network has decided Baldwin's punishment will be a suspension of him and his talk show for two weeks.

Baldwin released an apologetic statement stating, "Words are important. I understand that, and will choose mine with great care going forward. Behavior like this undermines hard-fought rights that I vigorously support."
