Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson has spoken about in the midst of the drug scandal that sees her two former assistants accusing her of abusing drugs every day for the decade they worked for her and paying them to keep it a secret from her then-husband Charles Saatchi.

She thanked her fans who have shown support in this difficult time by sharing what she knows best – a new recipe.

Nigella took to Twitter to share her recipe for a holiday hotcake. “Holiday Hotcake: the perfect recipe to show thanks for all your support & to those who hashtag #teamNigella,” she wrote.

Italian sisters Francesca and Elisabetta Grillo are on trial for spending hundreds of thousands in luxury items such as vacations, designer clothes and handbags on Saatchi’s credit card. They claim they were authorized to spend the money by Lawson in exchange for their keeping quiet about her daily marijuana, pills and cocaine use.

Saatchi wrote an email, which was shown in court by the Grillo sisters’ attorney, which stated, “I believe every word the Grillos said." He also called his ex “off your head on drugs.”
