Ohio State held No. 17 Marquette to 35 points in a sloppy game Friday night.

Shannon Scott and Sam Thompson had 13 points apiece and Aaron Craft added 10 to help improve the Buckeyes to 3-0.
According to ESPN the win snapped a 27-game winning streak at home for the Marquette Golden Eagles.

It took a second half run that started out with a 12-4 Buckeye run right after the intermission. Scott had six of the 12, fueling the rally. by the time there were only six and a half minutes to play the Ohio State lead was 44-28.

The first half was a debacle for both teams. the score was tied at 19 after the first half, CBS Sports reports. The two teams shot a combined 13-of-55 in the abysmal first half.

These two teams were supposed to meet last year on an aircraft carrier in the Carrier Classic, but the matchup was cancelled due to weather conditions.
